Founded in 1784 by Alexander Hamilton, the Bank of New York is America’s oldest continuously operating bank. BNY Wealth is delighted to offer a private tour, for a group of four, through the bank’s historic archive which includes precious pieces of Americana, manuscripts, and art dating back to Colonial America. These pieces, which are rarely on public display, will be taken out of the bank’s collection vault for your private viewing. Pieces on the tour will include portraits of founding fathers, Colonial-era Period bank notes, and handwritten manuscripts signed by George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and Aaron Burr.
Tour Date and Time: The tour date can be flexibly arranged any day in November, Monday-Friday, between 9-5pm. Tour Duration: Approximately 2 Hours
BNY Wealth is proud to support the IFPDA Print Fair as the VIP partner in 2025. Through active partnerships with museums, galleries, and fairs around the world, the BNY Art Collection supports the cultural vitality of communities, provides public access to the collection, and engages BNY’s clients.
